Come with me, through this life,
I can show you what you've missed.
Sex, drugs, and rock 'n roll,
and people getting pissed.
Oh you may laugh and scoff,
but let me tell you son.
I was hip and grooving,
when you had a nappy covered bum.
Good... Now you're listening.
Though you have a sarcastic smile.
Park yourself in that chair,
and let's talk for a while.
Back when I was young,
and love was free and wild.
Older on the outside,
but inside still a child.
Young enough to get away
with it.
Old enough to know better.
But who's to say what's right or wrong,
to us it didn't matter.
Waking late on a Saturday
morning,
not alone in my bed.
Can't remember what I did,
and god knows what I said.
Careful not to wake her,
'cause I forgot her bloody name.
We were both butt naked,
she's only got herself to blame.
Head still spinning madly,
over the bed I trip.
My elbow hit her breast.
Unladylike she yells "Shit."
I needed to talk to Rowlf,
so to the throne I trot.
Christ I felt seedy.
Did some prick give me pot?
Doing all my business.
Peeing and spewing some.
That nameless bloody chick,
comes in and grabs my bum.
Not game to turn around,
with bits stuck to my chin.
Trying hard to remember,
was she gorgeous, or ugly as sin.
Turning around quite briefly,
I thanked the gods I knew.
She was drop dead gorgeous.
But I still needed to spew.
After quite a time,
I leave the royal throne.
Coming out I find her,
on my bloody phone.
Talking to her friend,
about last night deeds.
She was still quite naked,
arousing my wants and needs.
A few hours later,
well it might have been less than that.
We sat and talked together,
on the Angora mat.
Still both quite naked,
not conscious of our forms.
And from all this conversation,
a relationship was born.
You can see from all this
banter,
that I've repeated over the years.
I've had love and lost it,
and shed my share of tears.
Love can sometimes come,
from the most strangest of places.
People will pass through your life,
try to remember their faces.
For as you go on,
through this erratic life.
Those faces bring good memories,
in good times and in strife.
So cheer up son nothing,
could be as bad as that.
Forget broken mirrors,
ladders, or black cats.
Mirrors break, ladders
fall,
cats get hit by cars.
People will always need people.
Remember that and you'll go far.
Dedicated to my Uncle Sam.
This is fictional but based
on his personality.
Thanks Sam, you're my Uncle
and my friend...
